Lead the Future of Work with Strategic AI
A research-led programme helping senior leaders shape the future of work with confidence

Based upon Julian Stodd’s acclaimed book Engines of Engagement: A Curious Book About Generative AI (adopted by six universities in the UK and USA and recipient of the peer-reviewed 2024 IITSEC ‘Best Tutorial’ award), this programme offers a structured and research-led opportunity to explore the fundamental shifts reshaping work and leadership in the Anthropo-Technic age.
It provides a guided space for your mid-to-senior leaders to develop Social-Strategic Foresight — the ability to lead with confidence and clarity amid the disruptive synergy of humans and machines.
Why this Programme?
AI is not just a tool; it alters the social context of leadership itself. This programme helps leaders:
- Navigate the Anthropo-Technic shift – the fundamental changes in work, value, and organisational design.
- Explore the scaled effects of AI and prototype new models of work beyond efficiency alone.
- Situate AI within the broader Social Age, re-examining truth, trust, validity, and identity in hyperconnected communities.
- Develop strategic perspectives to support long-term leadership decisions under uncertainty
Programme Format
- Three online sessions of two hours each.
- Dialogue-driven and highly collaborative: around 50% of each session is small-group work and paired activities.
- Supported by a programme guidebook and a copy of Engines of Engagement.
- Designed to produce your own scenario plan and leadership map to take away.
The Three-Part Journey
- The Anthropo-Technic Shift
- Map your context through strategic lenses, identify tensions and opportunities, and understand the fracture in traditional paradigms.
- Reimagining Capability and Value
- Move beyond efficiencies to prototype new models of human–AI leadership and explore the scaled effects of AI.
- Strategic Foresight and Implementation
- Develop a three-year scenario for your own leadership and lay the foundations to lead in an uncertain future.
What Makes This Programme Different?
- Strategic, not tactical: focus on 3–5 year implications rather than short-term tools.
- Framework-based: provides thinking tools rather than prescriptive solutions.
- Dialogue-driven: structured social collaboration ensures real-world relevance.
- Future-focused: explore scenarios and strategic options to shape, not just react to, change.
